St Andrews Scottish Episcopal Church

St Andrew's Church, Kelso, is named after the Patron Saint of Scotland, Andrew the Apostle, the brother of Simon Peter, one of the 12 initial followers of Jesus. The present building was built in the 1860s to a design by Sir Robert Rowan Anderson, who also designed the Altar, the Reredos and the Font. St Andrew's is close to the River Tweed in Belmount Place in Kelso (TD5 7JB). Belmont Place is the short cul-de-sac opposite the entrance to the ruins of Kelso Abbey. The church building is kept open and warm during daylight hours each day and visitors are warmly invited to use the building for a few moments of quiet prayer and to join the congregation for worship on Sundays.
