Kelso's Country & Western Festival

A Western-themed affair, complete with line dancing tuition, a fast-draw competition, a ladies' afternoon tea (Western attire compulsory) and of course, live music. The May line-up includes Tanya Turner, The Haleys, Texas Gun, Country Cousins and Desert Star. Dave Cash is the compere.

Border Union Show

The annual Border Union Show, South East Scotland’s premier event is all set to take place once again at the end of July. It really is a great two days out for everybody with lots of animals, delicious food, amusements, great shopping.

Tweedbank Training Club Agility Show

Tweedbank Dog Training Club Open Agility Test (held under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations H & H1).

The Agility Show will take place at the Showground on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June. Starting at 9.00am until 5.00pm both days. Spectators are very welcome free of charge. Catering / Refreshments will be available.

BVAA Rally 2017 - 40th Vintage Show

Saturday 20th May 2017

Auction Day - This is where any item entered into the auction will be sold off, this will not include household items etc. This year there will be an indoor and outdoor area where items will be placed at an officials discretion, items that will be affected by the weather will be held indoors where possible. Bidders must be behind the rope while the auction is taking place in the inside area. You can pay for the item you won at the auction 1 hour after the start of the auction. Auction commences at 10.30am

Championship Dog Show

A great event with up to 6000 entries.

Day One - Working, pastoral, utility and toy dogs

Day Two - Gundogs, hounds and terriers

What makes the Border Union special? The superb setting, exhibitor friendly car parking at the rear of the benching tents, disabled parking and a well laid out, compact Show with the rings surrounded by Trade Stands. There is also wet weather tents should these be required. The use of caravans by exhibitors is encouraged and every effort is made to make their stay pleasant.
